What's in a name?
Patina and Pearl encompasses mixing old & new, natural & refined, practical & pretty.
The name itself has a very special meaning to me. Decorating has always been a passion. Years ago friends and family began asking for my help and encouraged me to start a business. As my daughter neared middle school age I began to seriously consider what it would be like to make my hobby into something more. Around that time I had a dream. Like most dreams, some of the details are a little fuzzy, but I saw myself and my daughter (her middle name is Pearl after my paternal grandmother) and remember it being about combining my affinity for all things old and meaningful with newness and beauty. The name was born in that dream, and that's the moment a hobby turned into a business. Patina and Pearl is more than a name, it's a representation of my family, of what was and what will be, and the embodiment of my styling persona.
MEET ANDREA
Hello, I'm glad you're here! I am a wife, mother of a teenager, and have a love for all things decor. In my free time you'll find me cleaning, sipping coffee on the back porch, shopping, and endlessly rearranging my house. I enjoy the satisfaction of changing things up and making the most of every space. I am Type A by nature and thrive on practicality, but am passionate that practical doesn't have to mean ugly or boring.
My approach to styling is very intentional. I am a minimalist at heart but know that right combination of color, texture and layers can make all the difference in making a space feel pulled together and inspired. In my own home and those of my clients, it's my goal to maximize practicality while creating spaces that are beautiful and feel like "home".
